Spain-based, working internationally

A small consultancy for a narrow problem

Wisepassenger exists because IATA-accredited agencies keep meeting the same handful of problems (ADMs, refunds, the annual financial review, accreditation paperwork), and the expertise to handle them well rarely fits a full-time hire.

Wisepassenger was built by former IATA staff. We work exclusively with IATA-accredited travel agencies under the GoLite and GoStandard models, we do eight things, listed on the services page, and we decline work outside them. The practice is based in Spain and works in English and Spanish.

The work is deliberately unexciting: filings done on time, disputes filed with evidence, statements presented so they pass review, changes notified in the right order.

How we work

Every engagement starts with a diagnostic call at no charge, and most are delivered for a fixed fee agreed in writing before work begins. We work inside your systems (BSPlink, the IATA Customer Portal, your GDS) alongside your team, and every engagement ends with a written handover so the knowledge stays with you.

We say no early. If a problem needs a lawyer, an auditor or a local specialist, we tell you on the first call and, where we can, point you to one.

Independence

Wisepassenger is an independent consultancy. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of IATA, and nothing we provide constitutes an official IATA position. Where a question turns on the current text of a resolution or on your market's Local Financial Criteria, we work from the applicable documents, and encourage you to verify against them.

Start with the diagnostic call

Send a short description of the issue and, if you have it to hand, your latest BSP billing statement. We reply within one working day.
